6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 14

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

We should never position ourselves with an attitude of superiority over others knowing we are all condemned under sin. It is not our place to judge another because we ourselves must be judged. It is however appropriate for us to correct another believer if they are carried away in sin, not for the purpose of being superior but out of love for the eternal well being of our brother or sister in Christ. For instance if a fellow believer is engaged in sexual immorality it is fitting and loving to point out the error of that believer’s sin so that he or she may repent and turn back to obeying Christ’s will for their life.

Romans 15

1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

If you have the ability to support, encourage, or otherwise bear the suffering of a weaker Christian, by all means DO SO! We are not here to compare lives and feel better about ourselves, but to support our fellow believers in love. Does a fellow Christian suffer financially? Give them a financial gift with no return. Are they sick? Tend to their needs. Are they lonely? Be a friend. Do they struggle in sin? Disciple them. Wherever possible, edify one another in the love of Christ.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

We are a family in Christ, so let us break down the divisions and live in unity under the will of God and salvation of Jesus Christ who is LORD over all and in all who gladly receive His gift of eternal life.

33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
